Upgrade Details
1 Manual operation lock • An automatic lock function for manual operation was added. Required time for locking: Choose from 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, and OFF (default value: OFF)
• A function to unlock manual operations from external control (commands) was added.
2 LCD display • The color of the lines on the display and cursor were changed to orange when the manual operation is available.
• “PD4” shown in the top-left corner of the MAIN Display was changed to “MAIN”.
3 L command
(Lights ON/OFF command)		 When in strobe mode, the specifications of the L command have been changed as follows.
  • Previous version: 0 value must be set to turn on the light unit.
    E.g. Turn on the light three times: 1 ⇒ 0 ⇒ 1 ⇒ 0 ⇒ 1）
  • New version: The light unit turns ON when the command set value is 1.
    E.g. Turn on the light three times: 1 ⇒ 1 ⇒ 1
4 Sequence operation "SEQ-SGL2 (1 trigger 1 step sequence operation 2) was added.
When the next trigger is entered during the emission of the current step, it interrupts the current step and the next step is forced to start.
5 Assignment of trigger input terminals and lighting outputs Multiple channels of lighting outputs can now be assigned to a single channel of trigger input.
(e.g. Trig1 ⇒ L1, L2, L3)）
6 Logic of parallel output pins A function to switch the logic of output pins as well as input pins was added.
7 Response time of changing recipe The response time when changing the recipe number was changed from 30 ms or less to 100 µs or less.
8 Select recipe A function to cancel the recipe number selection on the menu display was added.
9 Trigger output pin • Error output can now be assigned to the trigger output terminals.
• A function to switch the logic of output pins, as well as input pins, was added.
• The maximum value of output duration time can now be set from 1 ms to 1 s.
10 MC protocol specification MC protocol (Mitsubishi Electric) was changed from “Random write, command (hexadecimal) 1402” to “Batch write, command (hexadecimal) 1401” and can now communicate with PLC (Panasonic)
11 Status monitor A function to reference the signal status for trigger and parallel pins from external control was added.

Differences in specifications before and after the version upgrade

Due to the version upgrade, some specifications of the readout command have been changed. Please use with caution.

Changes Details
3 L command
(Lights ON/OFF command)		 For strobe mode, Previous version: The written value (0 or 1) is readout. New version: Even if 1 is written, 0 is always readout.
9 Trigger output pin The readout value has been changed from 4 digits to 7 digits because the output duration time has been expanded to 1 s.
